Adam woke me up at 6am this morning when he came in to wake up Ally. I tried to get back to sleep but I just kinda lay there till 9am when I actually got up.
Adam was super hyper this morning. Once they gave him his medication he was ok and calmed right down but he was jumping on the airbeds before that.
Adam is certainly the focus in that household. We watched cartoons on TV cause that is what Adam wanted to watch. So I got a bored cause no one was really talking to each other.
Our Harry Potter books arrived at 12:30 I think but Greg and I only managed to read the first Chapter. There was just too much going on and we kept getting pulled away for one reason or another.
Then we got taken to The Fantastic Four because Ally and Shawn had promised Adam they would take him. I told Shawn before we left for the movie that I needed to get back to TO after the movie. He was disappointed since he'd planned on having me for dinner but I had promised Auntie Carol I'd be back by dinner.
Well I didn't make it for dinner. The movie ended around 6 and by the time I got back to the house it was 7. I was so exhausted. I just couldn't handle being there anymore. I guess I would make a lousy mother but I just couldn't handle Adam at all.
The whole thing made me sad because I didn't really get to spend time with Shawn at all. I realized that from now on this is the way it's going to be with my friends. They'll have to work around kids, which I think in most cases will be too much work and therefore we'll probably just lose touch.
